Tiara is College Bound

We would like to wish Tiara the best of luck as she heads to college this Fall at Wright State University in Ohio.  Tiara has been with our team for over 7 years and has truly been an inspiration to other jumpers and the coaches.  We are so proud of Tiara and hope that she returns to PCY to help the new girls when she is home for break!!

YMCA Cincinnati Rope Twisters

"The sport of Double Dutch is blossoming into one in which youth of every background can develop and display their skills. The YMCA Cincinnati Rope Twisters League formed in 1992 following successful Double Dutch programs launched at branches such as the West End YMCA which began in 1986. Girls and boys from kindergarten through high school participate in this year long opportunity. Youth travel both in and out of state as they participate and/or perform in demonstrations, city/state/world competitions and workshops. Drug awareness, Social Skills, Teen pregnancy and even hygiene are all topics presented in a Double Dutch forum. Cincinnati YMCA leaders have realized from the beginning that the heightening of athletic ability is only one need that the Double Dutch League could address."

2010-2011 Season Update!

Coach Shannon Takes A "Time Out"

Coach Shannon has made a decision to pursue her goals in the Medical field.  Due to the overwhelming committment she has decided to take a "time out" from Double Dutch. I am calling it a "time out" because I know that after she has successfully accomplished her goal she will be back.  She will definitely be missed but we are sure that she will continue to be a part of the program in the background.  Good Luck Shannon!!!
